Biography

Kirá is a lead singer, composer, musical producer and a playfull popular cearense that settled in Distrito Federal. His work brings a acustic poetry that goes through, reinvents and values simbols and expressions of the Brazilian popular culture. Mixing rhythm and elements of brazilians music genders and latin-americans - like the Baião, Maracatu, Carimbó, Pisadinha, Pagodão Baiano and even Salsa, The Cúmbia and the Bolero - his songs brings a originality to himself and poetic and rhythm explosion that brings out moviments like the Psicodelia Nordestina 70 and the MangueBeat.

He's bringing atention with energetic presentations and is a remarcable stage performant. His album debut titled "Semente de Peixe", with his old band Kirá e a Ribanceira, that in less than a year acounts with +50mil streamings and two songs got awarded in the Festival de
Musica Nacional FM, in 2020 with Dia de Feira - as best song and lyrics and in 2021 with Mar Mangão - Best lyrics. As for today he's preparing his next single e performance called "Pivete Baladeira".
