Biography

The distinct worlds of Que Diable! collide and intertwine to create a unique musical project, blending poetic lyrics with traditional Romanian melodies, all set within deeply contemporary productions.

When the poetry of a warm-voiced rapper merges with the spellbinding sound of a violin, there is only one step from the asphalt to the Balkans. From this encounter emerges a raw and urban music, both instinctive and untamed, inviting the listener to surrender and be carried away. And for the rest: Que Diable! Just let it happen.

Que Diable! is a duo formed by hip-hop vocalist Florent Allame (HHH, Dolce Camarade) and violinist Clément Quemener (Shifumi Orkestar). Together, they craft original compositions while also drawing from the traditional Romanian repertoire. The lyrics are co-written by Florent Allame and Aurélie Gérard, adding a strong poetic and narrative dimension to the project.

Winner of the START NORMA 2024 award as well as the Echo START 2024, Que Diable! performed at 25 venues in 2024 and is set to tour extensively with 38 dates in 2025. The duo is supported by three major contemporary music venues in Normandy: Le Trianon Transatlantique, La Gare aux Musiques, and Le Silo, which actively accompany the development of this bold and singular artistic journey.
