Biography
Firmly anchored in time, these SEVEN modern “vodoun sorcerers” offer an astonishing fusion of traditional percussion and brassy jazz (heritage of festive traditional music and contemporary music with a very jazzy brass arrangement) with a repertoire as varied in style as in content.
So, they're on the move, on the move without ever stopping, with their lively, multi-colored performances on stage and in the streets. And just like their name, which means “the spring never runs dry”, Olaïtan Africa Brass Band is determined to make the sounds of their spicy music bounce from your eardrums to your feet.
