Biography
Navigating between her French-Turkish roots, her music is a surprising fusion of piano flights of fancy and indie pop culture, creating a dreamlike universe. Her deep melodies and ethereal voice weave a rich, fragile, and immersive tapestry. A unique fusion, where Agnès Obel's poetry blends with Patrick Watson's hybrid sounds.
First and foremost a musician and pianist, you may have seen Mathis Akengin in the past with CAT FISH or DEAD CHIC.

This project showcases his talent through a range of sounds and styles that he will reveal in full on stage and on his first album, due for release in April 2026. The album will be released by UPTON PARK (available to listen to on request - professionals only).
His single “FIRST FLOOR” surpassed 500,000 streams in December 2025, in less than six months.
