One of Cuban music's most iconic singers, Issac Delgado has been thrilling millions of Cuban salsa fans for nearly three decades.
He started out as a professional musician with Pachito Alonso's Orquestra, then went on to make his mark with the group “NG La Banda”. In 1991, Delgado released his first album, “Dando La Hora”, under the direction of his faithful friend and virtuoso pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba, the first of many successes. He is one of the leading exponents of the salsa genre and has built his reputation with audiences and critics alike: talent, elegance and good taste are the ingredients that sustain the Maestro's solid career.
Having played on world-class stages and collaborated with some of the biggest names in Latin and international music, such as Celia Cruz, Sergio George, Cachao, Ana Belén, Cheo Feliciano, Grupo Niche, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Freddy Cole, Pedrito Martínez, Silvio Rodríguez and Los Van Van, among others, Issac keeps his classic-modern Cuban essence intact. A popular musician, loved by all for his charisma and humility, Issac pays tribute to both Spanish and African cultures, bringing a deeply rooted feeling to modern Cuban music. As Issac would say, “Vaya que chévere!”
