Biography
With their 2nd album “MASS”, GLIZ have taken us back to their hybrid and atypical rock. The rootsy sound of the power-trio banjo/drums/tuba, enriched by Farfisa strings, the chorus-laden tracks and the looser songwriting have enabled the band to move away from the powerful heavy-blues-garage of their debut towards a pop-psyche burning with melancholy and energy.
With a series of new singles announced for early 2025, Gliz prove they've still got it!
These new tracks sound and announce Gliz's entry into a new era, the fruit of a completely new composition and writing method that the band owes largely to the arrival of Julien Woittequand, the new drummer who joined Tom and Flo in the summer of 2024.
