Born in 2020 from the creative drive of the French-Spanish duo AD & SUN, GIRAMUNDO has followed a resolutely independent path from the very beginning, blending reggae, cultural diversity and a nomadic spirit.

Singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, AD shapes a musical universe inspired by travels and musical encounters. Alongside him, SUN brings her voice, Hispanic identity and artistic sensitivity. Together, they create and produce music rooted in reggae, while drawing on a blend of Latin, acoustic and electronic sounds.

On stage, GIRAMUNDO takes the form of a trio, with Selecta Pafo on machines. A vibrant and hybrid setup driven by the two voices of AD & SUN, combining festive energy, socially conscious lyrics and a strong connection with the audience.

With more than 250 concerts across France and Spain, GIRAMUNDO has built its reputation primarily on the road, from intimate venues to festivals, sharing the stage with artists such as Alborosie, Dub Inc and Pierpoljak. Along the way, the band has also developed numerous collaborations with artists from the current reggae scene, including Ryon, Dub Silence, Devi Reed, Maria Sigaa and Lord Bitum.

True to its DIY spirit, GIRAMUNDO writes, records and produces its music from its own studio, Mas Que Sonido. In 2024, their reggae cover of “Bella Ciao” was featured on the American label Putumayo World Music compilation, followed by a new chapter marked by the releases of “Así va la vida,” “Edimburgo” feat. Dub Silence and “IA” feat. Ryon.

The journey is now entering a new phase with “Inquilinos de la Tierra,” GIRAMUNDO’s debut album. A collective and eclectic project, entirely produced independently and enriched by numerous collaborations, with its release unfolding progressively throughout 2026 and 2027.

Blending reggae roots, Latin influences and contemporary production, GIRAMUNDO continues along the path that has driven them since the beginning: crossing borders, languages and audiences.
