Elvett is reborn in a new formation thanks to a project co-produced by l’Épicentre, Geneva in August 2022. A two-week daydream gives shape to a creation around a grand piano and carried by female voices, opening the window of possibilities for the duo. Infatuated with demanding pop as always, Elvett invites us into a sonic journey lulled by electronic and analog sounds, traditional songs, and sometimes lyrical, sometimes tribal pianos — a journey full of introspection and intensity.

Accompanied by singer and jazz pianist Soraya Berent since their debut, Elvett surrounds themselves now with one of the new faces of today’s pop scene, the talented singer and producer Gaspard Sommer on the analog synthesizer and sampler. Last but not least, the finishing touches of the project are brought by additional female voices embodied by Chloé Baumgartner and Capucine Mugnier of the promising trio “Les Lunes”.

Like a jewelry box for the powerful voice of Lyn m, this new group returns to their first love: soul, blues and gospel. Nevertheless, their constant search for novelty is satisfied thanks to the luminous productions of Alain Frey.
