The lions shatter barriers: they play jazz like punks, rock with the freedom of jazz, and seek trance like electro fans.

Yes, Des Lions pour Des Lions frees itself from genres, time and instead enjoys the experiences, curiosities and stories of each individual.

These four felines have the art and collective way of letting individual freedoms express themselves. Guitar (slide, dobro), saxophone, trombone, flute and percussion (dhol, tasha) come together to shape a colorful and fiery music with forty fingers.

The ardor is not only musical, it is also carried by the song, or rather the songs. The group plays with the sonority of words and letters, their repetitions, formulates incantations that amplify even more this overpowering sound excitement.

We are all lions... and the Dervish Safari should turn, turn, turn, turn...
