What better way to share the customs and traditions of a country or region than at a wedding ?
La Caravane Passe invites you to the wedding of Sacha, a high roller back from the Americas, and Mona, a virgin with overprotective cousins, in the lively atmosphere of the fake Balkan village of Plechti.
If you dare to accept their invitation, be warned :
You'll meet a seductive barmaid who could put a spell on your husband,
A trapeze artist who'll take your head to the stars,
A sorcerer who could make your underpants or bra disappear,
And a troupe of musicians brilliantly orchestrating this gypsy-rock opera.
Le Vrai Faux Mariage is based on the repertoire of La Caravane Passe's first two albums, which featured the nomadic village of Plèchti.
Part concert, part Gypsy-Rock opera, the show features dancers, clowns, acrobats and magicians alongside La Caravane.
Written in collaboration with artists Môh Aroussi and Yann-Yvon Pennec, it has become a Cabaret Sauvage staple. A legend in its own right !
