CQMD, heavy funk french band, are back with more energy and rythm. After 30 years existing, shows with Fred Wesley and Maceo Parker, a generic for Klapisch, and more than 1500 concerts in more than 40 countries, the rythm is accelerating with this 10th album.
During a trip to New-Orlins and Louisiana, this album was born as bluesy as funky. A first listen of this album and its swinging barass, and the foot tap tempo spontaneously, the head bangs mechanically. From the first track "Tropical", the tone is set for this sideral journey. A mix of fainting groove, simple melodies, and brass solo for a trip in the blues country and gives you pins and needles in one's legs.
